“Ours is not the struggle of one day, one week, or one year.…Ours is the struggle of a lifetime or maybe even many lifetimes, and each one of us in every generation must do our part.”

—Congressman John Lewis

In the aftermath of George Floyd’s killing and social movements like Black Lives Matter, educational institutions awoke to the challenge of teaching through an anti-racism/anti-Black racism lens.

Colleges and universities are searching for appropriate materials and methods for training faculty on how to reimagine education with racial justice in mind.

This call by UCLA Honors Programs, in close collaboration with multiple campus partners, is an effort to begin to address these needs.
