enroll in a 4-unit academic course determined by our faculty mentor during Fall Quarter 2023, during which we will work under our mentor's supervision to create a syllabus and prepare teaching tools and materials which can be curated.
participate in Fall Quarter 2023 leadership activities focused on pedagogy and seminar facilitation approaches, classroom management interests, and curation topics.
meet with and work closely with University Librarians to learn about protections of and requirements for public archiving of materials; this training will need to be completed during Fall Quarter 2023 while teaching tool products are being finalized.
offer the anti-racism/anti-Black racism seminar in Winter Quarter 2024 with close supervision by our faculty mentor, who will be the instructor of record for the course will approve the final syllabus and assign grades..
generate 5-6 products for curation during Winter Quarter 2024 and work with transfer technology and copyright rules to allow their free non-commercial use through discussions with the librarians.
engage throughout Fall Quarter 2023 and Winter Quarter 2024 with other student facilitator teams to promote the exchange of ideas and knowledge and to provide and receive peer support.
